Dona's Soda Biscuits

Ingredients:

2 cups flour
1/2 tsp. soda
1 tsp. cream of tartar 1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 cup lard
1 cup milk (approx.)

Instructions:
Sift four, add dry ingredients. Sift again. Cut in lard quickly and lightly until well mixed. Add milk until soft dough is formed. Turn onto lightly floured board. Knead a couple of strikes -- quickly. Pat 1/2 inch thick, cut with a floured cutter. Bake on ungreased sheet, 450 degree, for 12-15 minutes.
