Texas Brittle

Ingredients:

40 soda crackers
1 cup brown sugar
1/2 lb. butter
6 ounces of chocolate chips
1 cup ground nuts

Instructions:
Place approximately 40 soda crackers on a cookie sheet with edges touching. Boil together: brown sugar and butter. Cook 5 minutes from start of rolling boil. Pour mixture over soda crackers and spread to cover all.

Bake in preheated 350 degree oven for 3 minutes. Remove from oven. Spread chocolate chips over top. Spread ground nuts over top of chocolate. Cool and slice with sharp knife.
