Quick Bran Bread

Ingredients:

2 eggs
1 cup sugar
1 cup milk
1/2 tsp. salt
1 cup chopped nuts 1 cup bran
3 1/2 tsp. baking powder
3 to 3 1/2 cups sifted flour
2 tbsp. melted shortening, added to milk

Instructions:
Beat eggs and sugar until light; add milk, salt, bran, and nuts, mix well. Fold in flour which as been sifted with baking powder. Fill bread pan 3/4 full and bake at 350 degree for 60 minutes. Honey is an excellent spread for this bread.
