2 cups unsifted flour 2 tbs. sugar 1/2 tsp. salt 1 pkg. Fleischmann's active dry yeast | 1/2 cup milk 1/4 cup water 2 tbs. butter |
Instructions: Combine 3/4 cup flour, sugar, salt and undissolved yeast. Heat milk, water and butter until liquids are 120 degree - 130 degree. Add to dry ingredients; beat 2 minutes at medium speed, scraping bowl occasionally. Add 1/4 cup flour. Beat at high speed 2 minutes. Stir in enough flour to make a soft dough. Turn onto floured board; knead 2 to 3 minutes, until smooth. Place in greased bowl; grease top. Cover; place bowl into large pan of very warm water (about 120 degree). Let rise 15 minutes. | |
