Almond Roca

1 pound butter (no substitutes)
2 cups sugar
1 large semi-sweet Hershey bar, grated
sliced almonds, crushed

Cook butter and sugar over highest heat with an asbestos pad between burner and heavy pan. Stir constantly to heat to 310 degree:
1 large semi-sweet Hershey Bar and almonds; grate bar and crush almonds.

Spread half of almonds, and half of Hershey bar on bottom of broiler-size pan. Pour mixture over. Repeat Hershey and almond procedure.

Let harden and break into suitable sizes.
