Applesauce Cake | |

| Ingredients: | |
| 2 1/2 cups applesauce 2 cups sugar 3 tsps. soda 1 cup lard | 1 tsp. cinnamon 1 tsp. cloves 1 tsp. nutmeg 3 cups flour |
| Instructions: | |
| Combine all ingredients and mix thoroughly. Pour mixture into a 13x9-inch pan and bake at 350 degree for 35 to 40 minutes or until cake separates from the sides of the pan. Comments: You must use lard in this recipe and not substitute with butter. You may omit the cloves and nutmeg and only use cinnamon. | |
