3 tbs. vinegar 2 1/2 cups cooked sliced beets 1/4 tsp. ground cloves 1/2 tsp. salt 1/4 cup sugar 1 slice onion 2 tbs. butter | |

Instructions: |
Blend vinegar, 1/2 cup beets, cloves, salt, onion and butter until smooth. Pour over remaining beets in saucepan. Simmer, stirring frequently, about 20 minutes. |
