|1 cup grits|
4 cups water
1 - 8 oz. roll of garlic cheese or
8 oz. Velvetta and 1 tbs. garlic powder.
1 stick butter
1 egg, slightly beaten, plus milk to make 1 cup
|Cook grits according to package directions using grits, water and salt. Add cheese, butter, egg and milk. Stir until butter and cheese are melted.|
Pour into buttered casserole, sprinkle with paprika; bake at 325 degrees for 30-40 minutes (depending on size/shape of casserole). Helps to cut the butter and cheese in small pieces before adding to the grits - melts faster that way. This will serve 6-8 nicely. Yummy!
