7-8 slices bacon 2 eggs 1 tsp. salt 1 tbs. sugar 1/3 cup vinegar 2 tbs. bacon fat 1/3 cup heavy cream 1 head cabbage
Cook over hot water the eggs, salt, sugar, vinegar and bacon fat. Let cool. Shred, chip or slice cabbage. Crumble cooked bacon over cabbage. Add cream to cooled dressing. Pour dressing over cabbage and bacon. Serve promptly.
