1 tbs. oil 1/2 cup chopped onion 2 garlic cloves, minced 1 lb. lean ground beef 1 28-oz. can stewed tomatoes 1 pkg. taco seasoning mix 1 4-oz. can diced green chiles 1 small can chopped black olives 1 7-oz. pkg. cheese or nacho tortilla chips 1/2 lb. jack cheese, shredded 1 pint sour cream or plain yogurt 1/2 cup cheddar cheese, shredded | |

Instructions: |
Heat oven to 350 degree. Saute onion and garlic in oil until transparent. Add meat and cook until browned. Blend in tomatoes, taco seasoning, chiles and olives. Simmer 20 minutes.
Grease 9 x 13 inch baking dish with PAM. Layer half of chips (lightly crushed) over bottom. Add meat mixture, then jack cheese and sour cream. Top with remaining chips. Bake 30 minutes. Sprinkle with cheddar cheese and continue baking until cheese melts. |
