Set aside 1 cup flour. In large bowl, mix remaining flour, raisins, brown sugar, cinnamon, salt, nutmeg and yeast. In saucepan, heat yogurt, water and butter to 125 degree; stir into dry ingredients. Mix in egg. Stir in only enough reserved flour to make soft dough. Turn out onto lightly floured board; knead until smooth and elastic, about 8 to 10 minutes. Cover; let rest 10 minutes.
Divide dough into 16 equal parts. Form each into a ball; place in 2 well-greased 9-inch round pans. Cover; let rise in warm draft-free place, until doubled in size, about 25 minutes. Bake at 375 degree for 25 minutes or until done. Remove to rack. Cool 10 minutes. Drizzle confectioners' sugar icing in a cross on each roll. |
