2 lbs. ground beef 2 cup V8 juice 3/4 cup raw rolled oats 2 tablespoons ground onion (use onion powder) 12 tsp. celery seed 2 tsp. dried thyme
2/2 tsp. pepper parsley flakes seasoning salt 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce 1 tsp. salt catsup
Instructions:
Mix together all ingredients. Place in pan or casserole dish and bake at 350 degrees or 45 minutes. Serves 6.
For Dieters: 1 serving is 5 oz. meat loaf (I omitted 2 eggs that recipe originally called for.) Try adding some skim milk if mixture is too stiff.) I added about 1/4 cup more V8 juice.
For best combining I start with V8 juice, seasonings and herbs, rolled oats and meat last.
