Ingredients: |
5-7 tart cooking apples 2/3 cup sugar, divided 1 tsp. cinnamon 1 - 9 inch unbaked pastry shell 1 - 67-oz. pkg. chocolate chips 1 cup Bisquick 1/4 cup butter | |

Instructions: |
Pare and core apples and slice thin. Combine 1/3 cup sugar and cinnamon. Arrange half the apples in unbaked pie shell and sprinkle with half the sugar mixture and 1/2 of the chips. Repeat except for chocolate pieces. Combine remaining 1/3 cup sugar with Bisquick and cut in butter until mixture is crumbly; then spread over top of pie. Bake at 400 degree for about 40 minutes. Sprinkle rest of chips evenly over top of pie and bake 5 minutes longer. |
