|3 lbs. (1 1/2-inch thick) round steak|
1/2 cup flour
1 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon pepper
2 tablespoons fat
|1 can tomatoes|
1 small onion, minced
6 carrots, scraped
6 potatoes, peeled
|Mix flour and seasoning and pound well into meat.|
Melt fat in Chicken fry pan.
Brown meat well in fat on one side.
Turn and place potatoes and carrots around meat.
Add tomatoes and onions.'`Cover and cook over low heat 1 1/2 hours.
Serves 6 with meat for 2 meals.
